Blacktide
You're needed on the bridge Commander.
BLACKTIDE is a single-player space RTS played on a bright ocean of nebula light. Vast fleets fight as crisp black silhouettes and you command them not with clicks-per-minute, but with a hand of cards. Snap orders spent from limited command bandwidth, at exactly the right moment so you still feel the rush as you blast that carrier in half with a giant phased beam weapon.
Plot. Execute. Intervene.
At the commander's table you drag courses, set stances, and press EXECUTE. Then the table falls away and the tide runs: Capitals heel into their turns, ink wakes carve the plot into space, interceptor's flock like starlings. When fleets close inside gun range the world goes slow and letterboxed: CONTACT. Your hand slides live. Two cards played at the perfect moment, while a thousand tons of silhouette does the rest.
The galaxy adapts. Solved doctrines rot.
AI factions keep a ledger of how you fight. Lean on carrier swarms, and the opponents will bring flak screens next incursion. Vary your play, feint, rotate your doctrine, or watch your favourite deck stop working.
Every hull is a card.
Ships are built in yards over turns, and their loss thins your very deck. You are the last Commander of a displaced navy, holding the line sector by sector. Losses are forever.
